There are thousands of worthwhile excursions in Plumas County.

In the Eastern Plumas/Lakes Basin area: Frazier Falls,  Red Fir Nature Trail, Long Lake Trail, Round Lake/Bear Lakes loop Trail

Eastern Plumas/Plumas Eureka State Park area: Grass Lake/Little Jamison Creek Trail, Eureka Peak Loop Trail and Madora Lake Nature Trail.
